Completed Winter term 2025, Semester 2. Redesigned a commercial space into a residential apartment inspired by the 1980s Italian Memphis style. Space planning guided the kitchen and bathroom layouts.
Floor plans and elevations were created in AutoCAD, with renderings and furniture elevation drawings produced in Photoshop.
Elevations feature Italian Memphis–inspired patterns, with color guiding the viewer to areas where new activities begin. The arch element used above the kitchen’s cooking area is repeated in the primary suite, creating visual cohesion and a strong sense of connectivity throughout the space.
With the focal point directed toward the view beyond the expansive windows, a subdued Italian Memphis pattern was introduced to complement—rather than compete with—the bold colors and whimsical forms of the furniture.
